Mickey is no stranger to state and federal agencies. With labor and employment law as key practice areas, Mickey has represented clients before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Merit System Protection Board and the Indiana Civil Rights Commission.

One of Mickey's cases that embodies his commitment to customer satisfaction is his successful defense of an Indiana sheriff's department that was sued by local bondsmen. The bondsmen unsuccessfully argued that the department was violating anti-trust laws because it provided those incarcerated with a truncated list of businesses they could call for help posting a bond.

"The best reward for me is witnessing a client's reaction to a successful outcome and knowing that the client is satisfied with that outcome," he says.

Mickey received his doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis.

Mickey walked on to the Indiana University baseball team as a catcher during his freshman and sophomore years. He still enjoys the game. Mickey tries to get to Wrigley Field a couple times each year to root for the Cubs.

"The primary goals in each case are the same, diligently protect the client's interests and achieve the best outcome possible under the circumstances."
