Michele L. Henderson

Michele's law school education provided her with both the human and the technical sides of medical law, including receiving a special certificate in health law. As part of earning her certificate, Michele gained some hands-on learning in health clinics where she was able to gain practical experience in elder, family and disability law.

Michele, who represents physicians and insurance companies, is no stranger to complicated medical data. A background in biology and a desire to serve as the bridge between the medical community and others, help her communicate complicated information in an easy-to-understand format.

Michele earned her doctor of jurisprudence degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, Baltimore.

Michele grew up wearing hard hats, helping her parents who were both involved in the construction industry. A native of a small Indiana town, Michele says she often feels an instant bond with others from more rural communities.

"You look out for each other and help take care of each other in small towns."

An avid golfer, Michele and her husband spend their weekends hitting the links around Indianapolis.

"We're the translator s who help the jury cut through the medical jargon and better under stand why the actions that were taken by physicians made sense."
